Luke 1:39-56 — Second Sunday of Advent
While we don’t need to give Mary too much credit, there are some important truths we can learn by glancing at the mother of Jesus. We can see the humility that God blesses and the joy we can have by trusting in God’s promises even when we can’t yet see them fulfilled. This blessing is open to anyone if we will humble ourselves before the Lord, trust His Word, and submit to His will. This sermon was preached on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
